kaypoh turns a text or photo into a logged meal in one Gemini call, with 67 JUnit tests in CI.
kaypoh is a Telegram bot I built so I stop losing track of what I eat and how much I move each day. Text a description or a photo of a meal and one Gemini structured-output call works out what it is and estimates the calories, with no separate parsing step for me to maintain. Exercise logs work the same way, through commands like /running or /badminton, and it also knows when the next NUS shuttle leaves. It runs on Java 21 with a local SQLite database, in Docker on a VPS so it stays up.
